It is no surprise that sodas are unhealthy and are void of nutritional value. So why do we still drink them? We are "aware" but we do not do anything about it until we are faced with a preventable disease such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and additional comorbidities.
A health challenge that could benefit us all is reducing or eliminating foods and drinks that contain added sugars/sweeteners. Some people may be more 'addicted' and would need to consider detoxing by totally eliminating rather than reducing (moderation). After a month with this new regiment, your body will be balanced and you will not 'crave' this substance as it did.
